The projects executed under the Basic Needs Trust Fund – Fifth Project – St. Lucia Grant Agreement – GA 20/STL included:

1. Roseau Combined School Fencing – Complete fencing and controlled access gates in order to maintain security and minimise the chances of undesirable activities within the school compound
2. St Jude’s Preschool Renovation – Corrective maintenance and rehabiltation to the existing dilapidated structure and extension including a new section to accommodate the principal’s office.
3. Belvedere Public Facilities Renovation – Corrective maintenance to the structure that was in a state of disrepair and expansion of the existing facility to better serve the community.
4. Fond Assau Combined School Expansion – Demolition and replacement of the existing dilapidated timber school block with a new reinforced concrete block.

Dannion was awarded the four sub-projects under the Basic Needs Trust Fund Fifth Project in September 2005, with the signing of the contract in late October 2005. Dannion was commissioned by the Caribbean Development Bank to:

• Conduct full structural condition assessments of the structures under sub projects 2 and 3 above and to provide recommendations for the rehabilitation and expansion of the structures, up to engineering and architectural designs, cost estimating and construction supervision.
• Undertake engineering and architectural designs, cost estimating and construction supervision of the structures under sub projects 1 and 4 above.
• Provide Construction Supervision and Project Management during the Construction Works for all sub projects. All designs, design and or assessment reports, tender documents final versions, and prequalification of contractors were complete by 24 December 2005.

All the above subprojects were substantially completed by October 2006. In Early 2006 Dannion was further awarded the consultancy for designs, tender documentation and supervision the rehabilitation of the accesses to four (4) health centres.
