The project, undertaken by the Government of St Lucia, Ministry of Social Transformation, Human Resource Development, Youth and Sports as a Design and Build, consists of a two-storey reinforced concrete building on Dauphin Street in the heart of the town of Gros Islet.

The facility to boost the most up to date theatrical facilities and lighting. The building to be air-conditioned and supplied with a hybrid rainwater harvesting system (for the flushing of
toilets, inclusive of storage tanks, auxiliary valves and plumbing).

Dannion was commissioned by the main contractor in a design and build arrangement to undertake the role of Construction and Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Lead Engineers. Dannion’s role was to manage both the overall project design and implementation, as well as the day-today operations of the construction site including project management, engineering, liaising with the Employer and quantity surveying.
