Bonne Terre Bridge

The project consist of the construction of a new 4-lane, 12m single span, reinforced concrete bridge in replacement of the failed existing circular, concrete and rubble wall culvert near the Bonne Terre Junction on the Castries to Gros Islet Highway over Ravine Castagne.

Dannion was awarded the design review of options designs for the replacement of the failed existing culverts conducted by the Ministry of Infrastructure after a process of competitive bidding. In the review, Dannion conducted full hydrological and hydraulic analyses, and assessments of various bridge design options leading to full bridge structural designs, and road pavement and geometric designs.

Dannion also undertook the task of construction cost estimating, construction contract negotiations, preparation of contract documents and construction supervision.
