New National Hospital Complex Access Road

The proposed National Hospital Complex (to consist of a new general and a psychiatric hospital) is in the tender and construction phases. The location of the Hospital is at a site in the Coubaril Estate off the Millennium Highway. The objective of this project is to plan, design and supervise the construction of a new junction off the Millennium Highway and an access road from the new junction to the New National Hospital Site.

Dannion was commissioned by the Government of St Lucia (after a process of competitive bidding) to conduct full engineering designs and construction supervision. Dannion’s responsibilities included the appraisal of highway and junction design options; detailed design of the preferred option; development of drawings, bill of quantities and engineer’s estimate; and production of tender documents; evaluation of contractors’ bids and recommendation of award of contract.

During the construction phase, Dannion provides construction supervision and daily project management services.
