Eglan is the executive chairman and managing director of Dannion, having founded the firm in 2001. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and BREEAM Accredited Professional with over 28 years of experience in the field of Civil and Highway Engineering, Structural and Bridge Engineering, Project Management and Construction Contract Administration, and Sustainability Assessments. He has undertaken a wide spectrum of engineering projects from highway infrastructure and bridges, to building and marine structures, drainage and flood protection at every level. He has served on the board of directors of the St Lucia Water and Sewerage Company (WASCO) and the Development Control Authority. He presently serves on the Engineer’s Registration Board. Eglan enjoys Formula 1 simulator design and racing, as well as horological design.
