This project sought to enhance and expand the Babonneau Health centre to serve an expanding community and to provide for a higher level of health care. The new health centre, designed under guidelines by Pan American Health Organisation, more than doubled the size of the existing facility with increased parking, doctor and dentist offices, pharmacy, emergency care and nurses’ quarters.
Dannion was commissioned by the Caribbean Development Bank to conduct a full structural condition assessment of the structure and to provide recommendations for the reconstruction and expansion of the facility, including engineering and architectural designs, cost estimating and construction supervision.
