The challenges faced during the implementation of this project, not least Tropical Storm Thomas in 2011, required a high level of expertise, experience and flexibility to masterfully navigate through to completion.

The Government of St. Lucia received a loan from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development towards the cost of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of over 28km of agricultural and feeder roads across the island.

Dannion was awarded (after a process of competitive bidding) the consultancy to provide engineering design services consisting of road pavement and drainage design, contract document preparation and tender evaluation.

During the construction phase, Dannion provided construction supervision and daily project management services on thirteen (13) contract packages for the construction of twelve (12) roads undertaken by eight (8) separate contractors.
